Projects

I've started another model car that I picked up while in Fargo. This model is of a Ferrari 360 Spider and is made by the same people who made my MINI model. I'll try and showcase some of the other things that go into the model. I've learned a lot from working on the last model so expect this one to be a marked improvement

This is a model car that I received as a birthday present from Jane. It is a model of a Morris MINI 1275S Mk.1 that was produced in the 60s and 70s. It is made by a company called Tamiya based somewhere in Japan. To be specific this model was made in 1983 and it has never been built. I'll be taking you through the fun and excitment of building the model and I'll try to get in as much detail as possible.

I've always loved hard problems and I particularly love hard problems that are still being worked out by the experts. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is about as hard as they get. Matt and I decided that we would get way over our heads and do our best to make our own fluids engine. This is a very long term project but hopefully it will be a fruitful one. This isn't meant to be commercial software by any means but it should be fun.
