Winnipeg Fringe Festival

I have volunteered at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival since I was 15 in the summer of 1998. I can't explain why I enjoy it so much but it's a lot of fun and you meet a lot of interesting people. If you volunteer you get comps to free shows of your choosing.

The Fringe Festival happens all across North America and Europe. Winnipeg's Fringe is one of the most successful in North America and the longest running at twelve days. The event always occurs sometime in July shortly after the Winnipeg Folk Festival.

I'm not sure what else to say but I encourage everyone to volunteer or at least take in a few shows.
