A summer tradition at its best. Each year my good friend Mel host a Canada Day Weekend party at her cabin in Grand Beach. Three days of lying on a beach during the days and partying during the evening led to some great times with Ho Down, Charades and some mild sunburn.

My mother grew up on a small island called Santa Maria in the Azores which is a part of Portugal. I spent three weeks there during the summer of 2005 with my parents and my two friends Dan and Steve. There was also a website that contained updates as well as other information about our trip.
